"PANGS" GOES TO SPAAMART
|
| Leah Wright and Robert Raymond take Greg Woodland's
Vampire Tale to the Marketplace |
For Bob, a suburban vampire
working as a
Nightline crisis counsellor for the weak and sick, humans equal food.
Then he meets Miriam, the new blind counsellor who awakens in him a
need for love so strong it threatens his whole way of undeath.
That's
the premise of "Pangs", produced by Blue
Seas Films. Co-Producers Robert Raymond
and Leah Wright describe it this way:
"Titillating
and occasionally delicious PANGS takes a pleasurable amoral stance
whilst exploring its mythical main character - giving 'Bob' the more
human qualities of compassion and reasoning, whilst not forgetting it
has to be Scary, Sexy and cleverly dark in its frequent humorous
moments."
They'll be pitching the project at SPAAMART on
the
Gold Coast November 12-14, with production projected for early 2009 in
the Northern Rivers.
