David Michôd talks about the making of Animal Kingdom
 The Byron film community was treated to a thrilling and informative afternoon with the screening of the recently released Australian film Animal Kingdom and the writer/director in conversation with Tracey Mair. David gave a very personal, honest and open account of his inspirations and experiences in making the film.
While Animal Kingdom is ficitious David got his inspiration from reading about the Melbourne crime scene and has used a combination of his research and life experiences to create a gripping story. The cinema was packed and remained so through out the Q & A. The general concensus on the film was in agreement with the glowing reviews that the film has been receiving.
