- Belinda Chayko's feature film production "LOU" with John Hurt in a lead role supported by Emily Barclay is in preproduction in May 09 - production 25 May - 26 June 09. Production by Helen Bowden - Matchbox Pictures.
- Twenty20 Productions produced Series 2 of ABC TV's 'East of Everything' in Byron Bay . Written by locals, Deb Cox and Roger Monk, production across the region from August 2008. The Series goes to air starting July 2009 on ABC TV.
- Congratulations to Cathy Henkel & Jeff Canin of Hatchling Productions who launched their latest documentary - 'The BurningSeason'. This production should be seen by every human being over the age of 5. Adding to our understanding of the devastating consequences of global warming, this important production also gives us an insight into the politics of change. Introducing us to some fantastic characters, this film takes us around the globe several times as the new economics of carbon trading deals are worked out. The implications for the survival of man, animals and the earth are positive, but can our politicians move as quickly as these characters? A screening in Canberra for politicians has resulted in a demand for this documentary to be shown to politicians in every state. UP DATE the Burning Season was a hit at Tribecca in USA in April 2009- it goes from strength to strength!

- Enchant Media of Lismore, with Cynthia Connop as Director, has launched the documentary, 'Bloodlines', which will go to air on the ABC later in this year.
